Beautiful paintings on Wat Xieng Thong. 'Probably the most beautiful temple in Laos'. Piekne malowidla na Wat Xieng Thong (Wat znaczy swiatynia). Prawdopodobnie najpiekniejsza swiatynia w laosie (jak podaja zrodla)






Boat building. Budowa lodzi.

The Lao tuk tuks are great. Real roaring motorbike engines and decorated beautifully. Laotanskie tuk tuki to jedne z najglosniejszych i najwolniejszych z posrod do tej pory spodkanych, ale maja ladna dekoracje.


Night market rice sweets. Slodycze z nocnego markietu.

The greatest buffet in town. You fill your plate and then choose some meat to grill and eat with it. Uliczny bufet. Wystarczy zaladowac talez do pelna vegetarianskimi przysmakami i wybrac kawal miecha lub ryby z grila.

You can buy these little baskets with two baby birds inside. People release them outside the temple to bring them good luck. Na gorze mozna nabyc koszyczek z dwoma malymi ptaszkami i uwolnic je przed swiatynia, co ma przyniesc szczescie.

Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes. I had a great birthday in Luang Prabang and had a day full of lots of treats. The town was beautiful and charming and full of lovely, smiley Laos people. Lots of love to everyone back home xxx

  1. WOW.I loved the trip down the Mekong. Following your journey through photos is almost like being there,especially when l enlarge them!!
    The colours in these are beautiful, l think the Buddhas are magnificent.
