Happy Birthday Ted and Stik Class made my day.

Happy Birthday beautiful Martha Rose :) 21 is well old. I miss you and can't wait to see you over this side of the world.

Any kind of posts/ comments are very welcome and lovely lovely to read so don't hold back :) Thank you for all your messages it's great to hear about life back home. We miss and love you all tonnes. Today I managed to call the kids (and adults) at school and it made my day, so thank you Stik class; you are as always awesome magnificent and amazing and I miss you all very much. You sound very grown up and I'm glad to hear you're taking care of the adults. I heard Spiderman hamster went to Ireland to get married? Maybe he'll stay there with his new family. He might come back but I guess he'll look a bit different, that's normal. I'll let you know if he turns up here.

  1. Hello Big Bear and Little Bear.Well you have done it now.. going to have to suffer my rabid rabbitings and wandering witterings for months. So Martha is 21, truly astonishing, where have all the years gone? She looked amazing, was amazing and is amazing. We went for a meal with her in Nottingham and your Dad and Kate and Sam and B. and believe it or not it did not rain. Really pleased to hear that you have heard from your awesome Stik class. Has Stik finished his work at your school yet? Little suspicious of Spiderman hamster absconding to Ireland to get married however.Did you get my text, I suspect not, which has asked you to send me a letter giving me permission to sign your student loan on your behalf? as soon as possible would be good-if you could write one, sign it, scan it and email it that would be good. If you are miles away from such annoying technology all well and good just post one and I will send form off and say your letter is on its way. How many large parcels from India am I to expect..just the one? Dad seemed to think you had donated the frames to beach friends in Goa. People are beginning to solve the mystery of how to publish posts without losing them into the ether so hopefully you will receive lots more news from various parts of the world. Loving and missing you both..not going to London this half term, think I would miss cycling over to SN and seeing you guys too much and also have to do masses of data analysis to dazzle they who should not be named. Hope rains have cleared or are clearing so amazing walks are possible.Love and hugs and more hugs to you both, special people xxxx

  2. Hello again you two! What wonderful days you must be having there amongst the mountains and streams, just as I imagine it. Gary has been in Ireland this week and so he may well have met up with Spiderman Hamster, or even attended the nuptials.....he hasn’t mentioned it but it may be a covert affair.
I am, of course, green with envy that you plan to trek towards Leh since that’s exactly why I went back to Ladakh – to walk rather than catch a bus as the first time. My trekking capability was a little limited even then (we only walked five days from Khalatse to Likir but I thought I was going to die....) but I LOVED it and was glad I did it. I hope you get to ALCHI, near Leh, where there is an ancient gompa and the best and most magical skies you can imagine. Ladakh remains my favourite place in the whole world.
We are off to Spain on Friday and I am cutting grass and watering plants in readiness. I hear the weather is weird there as well as here. Last week there was a music session that some friends got together - there were massed fiddles/melodeons etc and you would have joined in and I think you’d have loved it (maybe not the electric guitars though.... ha ha). I just jigged and sang......
Tell us when you are setting off. I guess the blog will go quiet while you are over the hills and far away. Lots of love X
