| Dismantling the bicycle to send them home, with heavy hearts we've decided not to cycle through the desert in the summer. All the locals say it's too dangerous; we think it's too hot. |

ReplyDeleteHey you guys the family you are staying with look warm and friendly, love the inevitable cricket, tricky wicket mind you...sensible plan to avoid cycling 2000 miles "up through' India through desert heat and dangerous traffic including elephants...enjoy train trip to Himal Pradesh...think it is time for the bear to return to some hills for a while...camping and trekking...any climbing? Sitting blogging and watching the wind destroy those daffodils which survived the snow....boat mending later...love you both, ever amazing monkeys that you are, THE MOST xxxxxx

Loving the pictures and snapshot stories, looks like you are having a bloody amazing time. You both have that hippy, happy traveller look about you!
