Monkeys arrive in the Himalayas.... Malpy wreszcie w Himalajach...

Hej!!! Jestesmy cali i szczesliwi po 3ech dniach podrurzy. W pociagu poznalismy wspanialych ludzi Rosja/Nepal (+ 1.5 roczne dziecko), zabrali nas do tybetanskiej dzielnicy w Delhi gdzie spedzilismy jedna noc (czysto, ladnie i nie smierdzi). Podobalo nam sie bardziej niz poprzednio. Wraz z nimi kontynuowalismy podroz z Delhi, autobusem do Manali i jestesmy. Jest tu przepieknie...
  Nic nie wiemy o trzesieniach.
Wynajelismy pokoj z kuchnia i lazieka na miesiac (375pln), nieopodal wioski Vashist, to jest nasza glowna baza.
Wlasnie wyszlismy z lazni goracych zrodel, bylo  mistycznie i niesamowicie. Starzec z wioski odprawial modly spewajac piesni...
Dziekujemy wszystkim za wiadomosci i troske. Jestesmy ostrozni.
Wiecej w krodce (zdjecia tez).
Kochamy i pozdrawiamy wszystkich.

Hi everyone! So the 29 hours to Delhi went quickly, we had some lovely Russian/ Nepali companions (and their baby) who took us to a peaceful and beautiful Tibetan area in Delhi. We enjoyed Delhi much more the second time around. We caught the bus to Vashist with our new friends (a small village close to Manali) and it's really amazing here. We've rented an apartment for a month to use as a base whilst we explore Himachal Pradesh. We haven't seen or heard (or felt) any earthquakes, so if anyone was worried please don't be. We are looking after each other nicely (Bartosz is saving me from the massive spiders they have here) and we have just enjoyed an amazing wash in the hot springs. Thanks for all the messages and we send lots of love and kisses home to you all. xxxxx Photos to follow soon :)

  2. Super, że wszystko ok. Dziwne, że nie wiecie o trzęsieniach... ale może nawet całe szczęście:))) po prostu Was to ominęło.

  3. I have been reminiscing about Manali and looking at my old photos. Stunning terrain. Here we have had sunshine and been out and about in the Derbyshire hills (not quite the foothills of the Himalayas but there you go.......) If you do decide to go on towards Leh try to catch the festival at Hemis Gompa which is about an hour from Leh (this year June 18-19) and/or Phyang Gompa which is just outside Leh (July 6-7). Lots of love. X

Still awaiting the big O here..but in glorious sunshine...saw M last week end who is working hard and an amazing theatre production of Kite Runner at the Nott playhouse...saw Alice at the week end cuddling Elsie-ahhh! 11. I'm enjoying your photos very very much. Here it rains and then the sun comes out and then it rains again but THEN the sun comes out again after that (usually)- hurray. The Milford May Day procession was bucketed upon but good fun was had by all - of course. Much love. X
